Effective Project Management for the Analyst

Description:

This course will provide a foundation of concepts and techniques for planning, scheduling and tracking projects. Participants will learn how to initiate, plan, execute, control and close a project while avoiding common pitfalls in order to keep the project on time and within budget. Topics will include: schedule estimation techniques; work breakdown structure (WBS); network diagrams; Gantt charts; resource assignment; scheduling; status tracking; and making appropriate decisions for project adjustments.
